Al & Annie Olsen
Helping everyone read the Bible in the language they understand.
Al & Annie joined Wycliffe in 1987, initially serving in support roles as guest house managers. Since then Al has served in a variety of administrative roles from computer support to management training and operations and logistics. In 2003 God led Annie to her niche in type design for non-Roman and complex scripts (think computer fonts) and she has served there ever since.
Enabling access to God's word in a person's heart language and script is what motivates the Olsens day to day. Please prayerfully consider investing in Bible translation by becoming a prayer and/or financial partner in the Olsens' Wycliffe ministry.

Terry & Karla Smith
Terry and Cheri serve at the JAARS Center in Waxhaw, NC. Terry's work as a Research and Development Engineer in Aviation involves work that is done only in Waxhaw, but impacts mission aviation across the world (speeding up the work of Bible translation). As a recruiter he helps those who are considering mission aviation as they explore if JAARS is where God is directing them. He is excited to help them see how the Lord might be leading them to accelerate translation by using aviation.
Cheri meets variety of folks at the front desk where some may be meeting Wycliffe/JAARS for the first time, or they could be returning from serving overseas. She enjoys interacting with and serving the variety of people who come through the doors.
