Ministry Grants are designed to give people creative opportunities to serve & love our neighbors in Central Oregon. They are a resource for purchasing materials, supplies, or other expenses to support ministry that will help serve our community. Do you have an idea for a ministry or project and you'd like some funding support? Ministry Grants might be just the opportunity you need to start something new and make a difference in someone's life!
What is the process?
- Fill out the application to apply for grant money to fund your ministry idea.
- The Ministry Grant Committee & New Hope staff will review your application & ministry idea.
- If approved, you will receive funding to start your ministry idea.

Why is New Hope creating this Ministry Grant program?
These grants will help expand the ministries available to people in Central Oregon and allow for new and creative ministries to begin.

Grants can be used for ministry anywhere in Central Oregon.
Who can apply for these grants?
While created specifically for New Hope Church Members, anyone with a love for Jesus and a desire to reach out to Central Oregon communities with a ministry grant idea may apply.
What criteria will be used to select and approve grants?
- The number of people actively involved in the project
- The number of people positively affected by the project
- The cost of the project
- Assessment of short-term versus long-term benefit (Is this a one-time event or an ongoing ministry)
- Cash or other contributions from other sources
What is the review process?
- The New Hope Grant Team will review applications and pass on all recommendations to the pastoral staff for final approval.
- Approval or denial will be sent by email.
- If approved, you will be informed of the grant amount. If you have a 501c3 organization, the grant will be funded upfront. If you're applying as an individual or non-registered group, the funding will be provided via reimbursements through receipts.
