Do You Want to Get Well?

Looking at the encounter between Jesus and the paralyzed man at the pool of Bethesda in John 5, we ask Jesus' question, "Do you want to get well?" This question forces us to confront our own desires for healing and transformation. It invites us to consider whether we are ready to let go of our comfort zones, excuses, and dependencies to embrace the healing power of Jesus in our lives.
